The flight control system design plays a vital role in achieving vehicle and system level performance requirements for any flight vehicle. Today’s engineers engaged in design and development of flight control systems are challenged to not only meet these requirements but also continuously innovate new ways to reduce the development cycle and cost. To achieve these expectations, engineers are required to efficiently integrate electrical, mechanical and embedded control systems, and reduce the number of actual flight tests.
Join us for this full day seminar to understand how Model-Based Design using MATLAB and Simulink can address many of the challenges associated with flight control systems development processes. Using an electrical flight actuator case study, MathWorks engineers will demonstrate how you can:

News, Trends and discussions in the field of Machine Learning, Computer Vision and Data Science
Development of Aerospace and Defense Control Systems using MATLAB and Simulink
Acquiring Data from Sensors and Instruments Using MATLAB
Dear Sir/Madam,
MathWorks India invites you to a complimentary webinar:
26 Apr 2012
3:00 PM IST (India Standard Time)
In this webinar, we will discuss the latest data acquisition capabilities provided by MATLAB and the test and measurement toolboxes. These products enable you to control and acquire data from external sources including sensors such as thermocouples and IEPE accelerometers, sound cards, oscilloscopes, arbitrary waveform generators, and signal analyzers.
Through discussion and product demonstrations, you will see how you can use the data acquisition products to:
- Acquire data from thermocouples, IEPE accelerometers and sound cards
- Generate a PWM signal using counter/timers on DAQ hardware
- Connect to a Bluetooth sensor or device
- Control and acquire data from oscilloscopes without writing code
A Q&A session will follow the presentation and demos.
Presenter: Eric Wetjen is the Product Marketing Manager for the MathWorks Test and Measurement products.
Q&A Session: Chirag Patel, Application Engineer, MathWorks India
