Job Title: Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer

Department: DSP Software
Key Responsibilities:·         Design, develop and debug audio video algorithms and implementations for digital video products targeting the "Digital Home” 
·         Responsible for design, implementation and optimization of multiple multimedia algorithms on DSP platforms. 
·         Responsible for improvements in the audio video algorithms for taking the products to the next level. 
·         Responsible for appropriate system level work to get the first level of systems operational. 
·         Responsible for taking ownership at product(s) level and resolving the appropriate dependencies across groups. 
·         Play an integral role towards building and mentoring the DSP team. 
 
Education and Experience Required:·         B.E./M.E. (Electronics or Computer Engineering) with a minimum of 3 years of experience in design and development of real time video and audio compression algorithms and products for multimedia applications 
·         Strong C/C++ programming skills with expertise in well structured and documented analysis, design and coding 
·         Experienced in multiple audio video compression standards like WMV, H.264, MPEG-4, AAC, WMA etc 
·         Proficient in DSP architectures, optimization techniques and assembly programming on multiple DSPs. 
·         Sound fundamentals on DSP theory 
·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
·         Strong interpersonal skills 
·         Must work effectively in a team environment with an ability to lead small teams 
·         Strong experience and interest in software processes
