MathWorks India invites you to a free webinar;

Embedded Code Generation and Verification for the Aerospace Industry

10 Dec 2009
10:30 AM IST

This webinar starts with a review of how Real-Time Workshop® Embedded Coder™ generates high quality and efficient C/C++ code from Simulink® models, Stateflow® charts, and Embedded MATLAB™ functions for deployment on embedded applications, including flight certified systems. It then introduces how Embedded IDE Link™ MU (for Green Hills® MULTI®) can be used for building, optimizing and verifying the generated code.

The webinar then demonstrates important new technologies for code generation and verification involving aerospace and defense applications, including:
• Bidirectional model and code traceability
• Encapsulated C++ code generation to ease software integration
• Target optimized code for software deployment
• Processor-in-the-loop (PIL) testing for software verification
• Checking models and code for DO-178B certification

This webinar is primarily focused on people new to Model-Based Design and automatic code generation, but will also be of interest to those currently using Model-Based Design in previous releases.

A Q&A session will follow the presentation and demos.

Register for this webinar.

We look forward to seeing you online on the 10th of December, 2009.

VLSID 2010 - 23rd International Conference on VLSI Design and 9th International Conference on Embedded Systems

Hi,
We are happy to announce that VLSID 2010, Asia’s premier technical conference on VLSI design, EDA and embedded systems will be held at NIMHANS Convention Center, Bangalore, India from Jan. 3-7, 2010.

VLSID 2010 features an exciting lineup of seventy technical papers, eight distinguished keynote speakers, and nine invited embedded tutorials/hot topic presentations on the three days of the conference (Jan. 5-7). On the two days preceding the conference (Jan. 3-4), there are eight tutorials, including one hands-on tutorial being organized for the first time in the history of the conference. Other events that will happen concurrently with the main conference include industry and education forums, exhibits, and Design/EDA/Systems contest.
You can view agenda and register online, and avail of early bird registration rates. You can also find information on hotels and travel at the website.

Are you going to iREX2009? Maybe we can meet?

Hi,

Next week's International Robot Exhibition at the Tokyo Big Sight is looming and I was wondering if you are planning to attend.

If so, perhaps we can meet up talk about our observations for a bit.

I'd like the opportunity to meet you and discuss what we're seeing.

Thanks,

Frank Tobe

Image Acquisition and Processing using MATLAB

MathWorks India invites you to a free webinar;

Image Acquisition and Processing using MATLAB
24 Nov 2009
3:00 PM IST

Challenging image acquisition and processing problems are rarely solved with standard procedures. More often, you require flexible software that enables you to experiment with ideas, analyze results, and design real-world solutions.

View this webinar and discover how MATLAB®, Image Processing Toolbox, and Image Acquisition Toolbox provide a complete environment for image acquisition, analysis, processing, visualization, and algorithm development. You can benefit from this webinar even without prior knowledge of MATLAB.

Through product demonstrations, you will learn how to:
• Connect to and configure image acquisition hardware from MATLAB
• Organize and manipulate image data for exploration and visualization
• Execute standard algorithms for enhancement, segmentation, morphology, and feature measurement
• Develop algorithms using the MATLAB environment

A Q&A session will follow the presentation and demos.

Clcik to Register for this webinar.

We look forward to seeing you online on the 24th of November, 2009.
